In our marriage seminars we often talk about the differences between males and females. When couples understand these differences they find a lot more peace in their relationships. By grand design males and females are supposed to be different. Neither is better, we’re just different. And that’s a very good thing. We go into detail about these differences in our book Love That Lasts: 14 Secrets to a more joyful, passionate and fulfilling marriage, Secret 5: Appreciate the Differences.
We even wrote a song about it called We Got Differences. This helped us laugh about the differences and stop being so annoyed by them. They are there, we just need to appreciate them.
We found a very fun video on the Internet called the Tale of Two Brains. It talks about the differences in the thinking patterns of men and women. If you’re in the mood to laugh and learn click here to see the video.
To help create a more loving relationship with your spouse simply appreciate each other’s differences. God made us this way for a purpose. Enjoy the differences!
